Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how to see private instagram scarce that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, later than it acts subsequently it saved but nada.

Interface looks as soon as Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still... its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us pull off this? I mean, TikTok lets you keep later audio (sorta), but IG acts in imitation of Reels are nuclear launch codes. Wild.

If youre adventurous (and paranoid), try it. Just dont blame me if your phone starts ordering pizza on its own.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be put it on This?
Ugh. Im torn. on one hand, I get it. We desire to save that reel. do its stuff it to friends. Watch offline. maybe meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. so here's my rule: I isolated download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.
